Users of versions 2.0 to 2.5 can upgrade to 2.6 free of charge.

Free email support for VPOP3 version 2.6 will end on 31 December 2011

Self-service help for earlier versions will still be available via our Wiki and forums

Customers with annual support contracts will still be supported, it is only the free email technical support which will be stopped.

Our new policy is that our free email support ends 2 years after the release of the subsequent major version.

So:

Free email support for VPOP3 version 3.0 will end on 23 September 2012

Free email support for VPOP3 version 4.0 will end on 17 November 2013

Because you still get free support by email for at least 2 years, that will allow you plenty of time to get the software working as you require. If you keep reasonably up to date with the software versions, then you will always get free email technical support. If you have another reason to stay with an older version, then you will be able to purchase an annual support contract if you wish to be able to access personal technical support.

From 15th April to 2nd May there will be limited support available by telephone. Our premium rate support number is being temporarily closed during this period to avoid you being charged unnecessarily. There will be cover for 1st line technical support by telephone, but if it needs escalating, there may be delays.

On 22nd April (Good Friday), 25th April (Easter Monday), 29th April (Royal Wedding day) and 2nd May (May day) the office will be closed totally.

If you have any work planned during this time, please note the above information, and try to plan around it if possible. If you have planned work you know you will need our help with during our operating days, you may find it useful to 'book' the escalated support in advance, so we can make sure someone is available to help you.

People with servers hosted by us should have the emergency, out of hours, contact details in case your server is down. If not, please contact us for a reminder.
